AHHH, I Got Told to Teach Art…HELP!
In this session, we will discuss theory, look at useful resources, examine how I make sense of a 1980's curriculum, and review how I scaffold my lessons, which then get organized into my year plan. This session will give you an idea of how a working artist/art teacher sorts through a massive amount of projects to provide a meaningful year of art making in the classroom. After discussion, we will create scaffolded lessons together that you can use in your classroom right away.

So many times I hear students and adults say they can't draw! Drawing is a learned skill that has many tips and tricks you can use to make it easier- not easy, but definitely easier. These are skills that you will be able to share with your students and recreate in your classroom.
