Sketchbook

Sketchbook is not a lesson for students but rather a practice that I recommend you have in your classroom. It is great for early finishers, a fantastic way for students to self-express, a low-pressure way for students to practice skills and so much more! Click on the workbook to get a deeper explanation of what a sketchbook looks like in my classroom as well as monthly prompts for your students.

Time Estimate: On-going throughout the school year

Time Estimate: Nine 45 minute classes

  • Students make their own gesture slideshow. Start class off by doing 10 minutes of gesture sketches.
